Golden Outback
With farm stays in the wheat belt or station stays in the plains of the outback, this region of WA offers a holiday with a difference.
Pastoral and cattle stations spread across the landscape, surrounded by wildflowers and full of wildlife, while the red earth and beautiful sunsets provide an artist’s palette of colour to take your breath away. Indigenous history and the story of the mining towns provide many points of interest to visitors to the region. Accommodation ranges from camping to commanding homesteads offering luxurious escapes from city life.
Travelling south in the region a stark contrast in landscape is found around the beaches near Esperance. Beautiful white sandy beaches offer some great opportunities for windsurfing and diving.
